Coil Split - push pull pot?

Just a thought, as I seem to be getting into this guitar modification thing.

My setup is 2 Nailbombs, 1 volume, 1 tone and a Schaller Megaswitch.

I'm kinda missing the bridge and neck single coil sound - not taking anything away from the full humbuckers in these positions; they sound awesome.  But some things need a thinner sound.

I like what the Megaswitch does (Full Bridge, Inner Coils Serial, Neck and Bridge Full, Outer Coils Serial, Full Neck), so I was wondering if it would be easy replacing the tone pot with a push/pull model.

I was also thinking about sticking in a SuperSwitch to replace the Megaswitch (sounds a little like the Transformers film, doesn't it?) but I think that the new pot would be a better bet.

Any thoughts appreciated.

You could use a push-pull to split one or both humbuckers, but I'm not sure how to integrate that with the Megaswitch - the (green & white) coil-split wires would have to go to the push-pull instead of the Megaswitch, so the Megaswitch would no longer work properly.

It might be better to go with the push-pull and a 3-way Tele-style switch.  Or a double-wafer Superswitch, as you mentioned, which gives all sorts of options (although I can never figure out how they work, I need someone else's diagrams to help).

... yeah, that's kinda what I thought.  The way that the Superswitch is described it looks as if the 5 options can be filled by pretty much ANY sound that the pups can generate.

Or I could just stick with the super-cool setup that I have now...

Another option for a "thinner" sound would be a  p/p pot that switches one of the pups from serial to parallel wiring. I've done this on the neck nailbomb on my Ibanez RGT and the sound is a nailbomb only thinner and a bit fizzier and quieter.....which I'm not sure I like particularly but it's better than the coil split sound....which I don't have, prefering another p/p pot for phase reversal instead.
