I got some money to spend this January, budget is not a problem, I'll spend anything for tone!

I have some amazing pedals, and I need an amazing power supply to complement them, they are boutique, and/or classics, some mostly true bypass, a few are not.

I just bought a Power supply from Sound Control in Manchester, but it was only £30, and I was appauled with it, it sucked the tone, caused sag, and made my wha sound like an 80s Behringer. I took it back to the shop next day and told them it was not what I wanted.

I've sinced realised I need to find the best power supply that money can buy, I hear voodoo lab do one thats good?

What I need out of this power block is at least 10 9v outputs, preferably with extra 12v outs, incase I buy a pedal with 12v, such as Digitech Whammy or a big Line 6 green/purple thing. The polarity must be reversable on each channel, as I am using 1 pedal that has reverse polarity in the chain, a fuzz octavia.

This is my pedal chain at the moment:

Guitar >Wha >OD/fuzz >fuzzoct(reverse pol) >flanger >delay >amplifier.

any suggestions?

I got a goldlyke powerall. No issues whatsoever. Lots of gubbins for odd pedals and I only use the one effin cable...

Interesting, this is similar to the one I took back to the shop. Thanks for the help, the other rack one, is way too expensive, I know I said money isn't a problem, but it's really too much. The Voodoo Lab Pedal Power II is the one I've settled on, it seems perfect, a bit expensive but worth it. The reviews on harmony central say nothing but good things about it, they all say the expense is worth it and it brings out the best tone from expenisive pedals.

Sounds like bollocks to me... I rarely bother reading HC anymore.

The voodoo lab pedal power 2+ as well as the Burkey flatliner (with options) do exactly that. All others can not handle reverse polarities afaik.

I doubt it, I can definitley tell big differences in sound quality between different units, it's probably just me lol

Im UK dealer for the Burkey Flatliner, in my experience it is the most versatile pedal power supply on the market

seems great yes, but the downside compared to the voodoo labs unit is that it is huge and heavy  :(

Yes the Flatliner Pro is bigger than the PP2. . . Burkey are releasing a new model flatliner later this month.. the "Flatliner SIX". . This is a much more compact Flatliner with 6 fully isolated outputs, all step adjustable 9 12-15-18 VDC @ 100mA each.

No price or pictures yet but the Flatliner SIX is set for release later in January, The Flatliner (Flatliner PRO) will continue as normal.

I will have these available in the UK as soon as possible and of course Rob will have them on www.burkey.nl.

what do people say to the 'Jim Dunlop DC Brick'?

it doesn't have an IEC mains input, which is a bad point, but maybe it has other advantages?

This sounds perfect! Will it do negative tip and positive tip voltage pedals at the same time then?

vision: i notice you also have rothwell audio supplies. any comments on those audio-wise? they seem a good size, obviously they dont have the feaures of the more advanced units mentioned so far.

For the money and if you dont need the multi voltage thing and isolated outlets the Stompjuice is amazing for the money. . . and British too!
