I have roughly £200 wating to clear, and what's bugging me is, I'm finding it difficult deciding which object to buy.

I have these options:

01/ Buy a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power II.

02/ Buy a Keeley Compressor.

03/ Buy a Keeley Java Boost

04/ Spend nothing and save.

which one would you choose if you were in my situation?

Until I knew exactly what I wanted, I'd save it. You obviously have a short list of gear you want but if it was me, I'd re examine the items and perhaps look at alternatives and only then if I was sure, I'd buy whatever I wanted.Take no notice of me whatsoever because whenever I have prevaricated, a bill or summat has come along and made the decision for me.

haha, cheers. The problem is I'm very sure, very sure I want them all, but can only have one or nothing, it's a bummer.

Spend nothing and invest. ;) You'll be able to buy all those pedals, if you're patient enough.

With 200£,you should be able to afford the 2 Keeley,don't you?You do have my benediction

I'd consider getting a Barber Tone Press instead of the Keeley. The Barber is just as high quality build as the Keeley, will do everything the Keeley does, and more.
If you get the Barber, you'd also have £70 change out of £200 - almost enough for a Pedal Power II !!

Maybe, but not until I find another job first. I'm also out of work atm, but it is christmas!

In all honesty, I'd wait until you are back in work to start spending. You may find you need the money for something essential rather than a luxury. I was out of work for a year after my last uni course, and it's amazing how far £200 will take you.

Do you really need the Pedal Power 2? I use the Diago Powerstation, which isn't quite as versatile, but much cheaper (£55) and works brilliantly. Diago provide a good (and surprisingly unbiased) comparison with the Pedal Power 2 here:

thanks mr froglord, it's an alternative.

bear in mind, i use a line 6 pedal, and also a fuzz octave, which needs reverse pol, whatever power supply I have, it must be able to cope, all without hum.

With the weird pedals, can you not just buy 2 rechargable batteries, and go for the cheaper PSU?

Check out the Toadworks Mr Squishy compressor, i MUCH prefer it to the Keeley and its only £80!

Also if you want a Pro pedal power supply Burkey are bringing out a new model Flatliner later this month the "Flatliner SIX". . this has 6 fully isolated outputs all step adjustable 9 12-15-18 VDC @ 100mA each.

I will have these available in the UK as soon as possible and of course Rob will have them on www.burkey.nl.
