Request: Blues/Classic rock compilation of Humbuckers
« on: January 06, 2008, 06:46:13 PM »
Just been trawling through this forum looking for some classic rock/blues sound clips, but there all playing different things so its difficult to hear the difference.

If someone could make a compilation of some of the humbucker pickups playing the same thing, probably including the Warpig, Nailbomb, Miracle Man, and the Mules if possible! it would be much appreciated

if you could add some clean in as well (i know asking alot) it would be great!

Cheers  :D

For classic rock i'd listen out for mules, stormy mondays, black dogs etc (vintage and vintage hot pickups).

Hunter's clips are very good and he's into his classic rock.

Add Emeralds to that list.

They're slightly 'hot' but definetly for classic rock.

Problem is I'm simply not a Metal player, so any attempt I make at Metal will sound even more half assed than normal  :D

But .... I'll see what I can do

Cool, it doesn't have to be anything fancy.  No need to do 16th notes at 260 BPM, 259 will do

If I even try to attempt anything at 259-260 BPM, I'll end up disintegrating ... or get hurled back to 1974 in a spacial trans dimensional time vortex  :D

That's a rule for Classic Rock / Blues players

I find the Mule perfect for blues and classic rock, the alnico IV version. I've used it for metal as well!
