Has anyone got this live 2 disc DVD, i bought it for my bro for xmas but i decided to give it a watch too the other day. It's actually amazing, really great live performance from 1994 (i think) and the 2nd disc is The Dark Side of the Moon in it's entirety which is something special. They put on a great show with loads of visual effects and stuff and it's great to watch.

I don't have the DVD but I was at the concert which was amazing, probably the best I've ever been to.

My bro and I have been steeling that back out of each other CD collection for some years now..... It's actually his, but I'm laying a claim to it.

Wicked album.
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

It was a total bombardment of the senses, and certainly made me realise why Pink Floyd is such a huge band. I feel really lucky I was able to be there.
A few weeks back I was talking about the concert to a friend while we were on a train going into Waterloo. As we were talking we both looked out of the window at Battersea power station just in time to see a pig flying over it. Once we both decided that our drinks had not been spiked, we could see that the pig was a giant inflatable and the movement of the train made it look like it was moving. The inflatable had been put there to advertise the Simpsons film coming out on DVD  :D

I've seen it too, i'm a Huge Floyd fan, and Gilmour is my God. The whole concert, the lights, the sound, the songs, everything is perfect IMO: a listenning orgasm... And the extended "Comfortably Numb" final solo is something beyond reach, it's my favourite guitar solo of all time, by far...

The only thing i've seen that can compete with Pulse, in terms of light show, is the Daft Punk Alive concert which i was lucky enough to see for myself. This was the best concert i've ever seen, even if electro music isn't my favourite genre...
If you liked pulse and like a bit of electro, i really recommend a listen to their live album "Alive 2007", even better, get videos on the web... You'll be blown away....
(then imagine yourself facing this 30feet-high screen pyramid some 45 feet away with your knees shaking and the back of your pants flying back at every 30HZ sub bass kick... well this was my experience :D  8) )
I started my own record label.
It's called Stand Out Records.
We ONLY use Bare Knuckle Pickups...

Another enthusiastic response here !

I have the Pulse DVD and ( like Prozac bear ) was there at one of the the concerts. Truly mind blowing, but the occasion that really got me emotionally overwhelmed was seeing them perform 'The Wall' some years earlier with Roger Waters and the amazing narative use of the wall itself.

I know it's been mentioned here before, but for the new forum members, check out the informative gilmourish.com website.

Dave Gilmour will be an example for generations to come.

Fine stuff indeed ...
