NGD for me (7 string)

Me and my Girlfriend went out to London yesterday for some shopping and just a nice day out together. Went to Camden first and bought myself Devin Townsend's Terria album, Machine Head hoody and some lunch. Then we moved onto Denmark Street.

Originally I was on the look for out a pedal. Something like the Electro Harmonix Electric Mistress. But, I went into Rockers.

I noticed the LTD SC's up on the wall. So I decided to try out the SC207. Straight into a Mesa Rectoverb. I wasn't too keen on the amp but really liked the guitar. After going to Soho Soundhouse and then back again I tried it through a Boss GT8 into the front of a HIwatt amp with the Metal Stack setting.

Loved it.

So my Girlfriend bought it for me

Fantastic guitar for the price and matches the COW7 in quality.

Think I'm going to put a Lundgren M7 or a Bareknuckle (Painkiller or Nailbomb)into it.

Now I just need to sell my RG to pay back my Girlfriend and get a new humbucker. Also gasing for a GT8 now but I think i'll stick to trying to get a Orange 2 x 12 first. After the cab, I think I'm done with guitar gear for quite a while

Here it is with it's moody brother

Very nice mate! I've been a fan of the Steph Carpenter sigs for a while now. I'm intrigued as to how the pickup placement sounds though...

They are SUCH BRILLIANT guitars.

Best 7 string out there imo - Cept perhaps for the Caparison Dillinger 7.
My last FM.
ESP Horizon NTII.
ESP Viper Camo.
ENGL Screamer.

The best way to describe it is a Les Paul set with the pickup selector in the middle but with a tab more treble. Sounds really sweet for lead playing and big open chords.
