Nice work Dave!  :D
You forgot to paste a knob into the bottom right input jack.

So you're going for power-scaling this time Dave.  A good choice for a hundred watter methinks, even for you !
When is Martin planning to have it all up and running for you ?

Not power scaling Alan, just a plain ol' master volume.  I don't need the control that power scaling gives, just a master volume to take the edge of the loudness for some gigs.  I think a whole load of parts arrived yesterday, but he has another build to complete first.  Mine should be done in about a month's time.

Jonny - I don't have a money tree either  :(  I've accumulated a lot of gear over the last few years, and I've sold a few bits to fund the amp.  I'm now deciding what I need to sell to pay for the cabinet.  A couple of guitars is what it looks like  :(

the_bleeding - dimensions in inches:

Marshall cab:  33h x 30w x 14d
Orange/Matamp:  29h x 31w x 15d

The Matamp/Orange cab is a bit shorter, a bit wider and a bit deeper.

Bad idea!

+1

And I'd rather plug my Gretsch Jet in a cheapo tranny amp than in that abomination. I'd hate to get an Malcolm Young tone.

My Super Bass Klipp does an awesome later Malcolm tone, so the 45/100 should be perfect for the early stuff.  I'm thinking the intro to Dirty Deeds  :)

I'm going to have to get a Gretsch at some point aren't I?

My idea of amp holy grail is possible... but it'd cost a shed load of money to make, buy and would be the most bar-stewardised frankenstein amp ever conjured up. Heh. Maybe if I ever get rich...

Think mine would be
channel 1 2000> earlier twin clean or a original(havn't tried new ones)Hiwatt 50/100 (am very envious of HH Hiwatt)

Channel 2 a dirty jtm45 sound

channel 3 a prosonic Distorted channel  or dual rectifier dirty  channel(although love the soldano and 5150 dirty channels as well)

Three channels, each with a second channel built in for extra versatility!

Channel 1: Fender Clean on the "1" setting and "2" sounds more AC-30 like.

Channel 2: Classic Marshall crunch (JMP/JTM/Plexi-type) on "1" and "2" sounds closer to a JCM800.

Channel 3: Modern high-gain, SLO-100 type on "1" and then "2" is an uber-gain beast for metal.

4 way power switch - 100W, can be reduced to 50W, 30W or 7W.

FX loop.

Footswitch changes channels, switches between modes and provides a master switch the FX loop.

Each channel has volume, treble, mid, bass, presence, independent reverb and then a master volume for the whole thing.

High/low inputs.

Built-in additional EQ, operates across all channels, with the classic "V" shape to give a mid-boost for solos.

Valve failiure LED's.

Finished in a deep crimson tolex.

Sounds slightly sexual...

Amp wise I have a new found love for anything Orange. Though I do love the sweet, sweet tone from a Matchless DC-30. One day I shall bodge a Ceratone together for my self. And try not to lick any high voltage caps and die whilst doing it.
