I was in Subway today, and I was eating a Meatball Marinara and I was chewing what I thought to be cheese but it was a big chunk of PLASTIC.

Then my sister had complained and the person there didn't deny it being there by mistake or something, she said it was probably from the bottom of the bucket thingy they have the meatball in.

Yum. Still, doesn't put me off Subway though. got a free 6-inch with my money back. Who wouldn't like a free 1.5 foot long sub-sandwich for the expense of a chunk of plastic. And I also went across the street to try out an Ibanez S Series.

Anyone else have a bad experience with food or anything in general?

I went to see Metallica at Wembley last year had a Wembley hot dog for about £12 (w@nkers). I spent the following 48 hours on the toilet... never again.

I was in Newark NJ airport waiting for a delayed flight and starving and given some airline vouchers and bought a meat wrap thing that tasted a bit odd but I ate some of it.Soon regretted it. T'was an interesting flight home.

you wouldn't use the meat knife on crusty bread but, equally, the serrated knife and straight edge knife aren't going to go through raw meat as quickly

That is mighty sickening!

Err, back in ye olden days, when I was doing the combining in the summer, was in a field behind the pub (my fathers home from home) so he fetched me a prawn sani from the kitchen.
Haven't eaten prawns since!
I had to sit there for 11 hours until I finished for the day. Couldn't stand up, or else the main drive for the combine would turn off, couldn't go home to use the facilities.

@ 38th - atleast you had toilets on the plane!

Can't say I've found anything worse than a hair in my food.

I've had food poisoning off a Chicken pastie though - had it for my lunch and was crippled with pains up my back and guts an hour later.

My girlfriend bought a pasty from the bakers a few weeks ago, she took a bite and said it tasted odd. I had a go and it did indeed taste a bit odd, slightly like stomach acid in fact. When we looked inside it, it was blue and hairy and moldy.
Actual quote from the baker:
"Oh my, that's not our policy at all!"
Actual quote from me:
"I should $%&#ing hope not!!!"
LOVING the Mules!

After a night of heavy drinking I ate some way too greasy spare ribs. Though they were delicious, the next day I had a bad case of stomach ache. I'll spare you the rest of the details and symptoms.

Yep - one of my favourite female singers of the '70s Linda Rondstadt.
She went from this

To this

She still has an amazing voice - apparently a thyroid problem has contributed to some of her weight problem.

Always used to like the dual guitars on this one:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmE7tTzJkbU

I once found a pubic hair in a bacon sandwich, it was mixed in with the brown sauce, still makes me gag to think of it.
Only a few weeks ago I chipped a tooth on a stone in some chip shop chips, it was embedded right inside the chip, I guess it was in the potato. Have not got around to seeing the dentist yet.

I think you win the '$%&#ing Gross Experience' award. Can't say it's a good award to win though.

Unlucky for your tooth too.
