Art deco?  Hadn't thought of that, but I like it!  :D  Maybe I should get some Grover Imperial tuners to add to the look.

Yours for... £800?

It is a very nice SG - great neck shape and a 1-piece body with lovely straight grain (to me, it looks better than flame maple).  But it does lack something.  I love a single P-90, but two together just don't work for me somehow.  I'm tempted to be sacrilegious and put a humbucker (or two) in there....
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Not just now, sorry!    The green is my favourite, and I must admit the black one doesn't get played a lot.  But I've always had it marked out for a high-output pickup so it can be my "HM" SG.

Thanks!  No, that's the lot for SGs, unless I include my old Melody Maker, which is SG-ish but not the actual SG shape.  I have had a few others in the past, but sold them all.

I'm trying not to have more than 2 (or maybe 3     ) of anything...

Much abused 1964 SG with DiMarzio Dual Sound bridge pickup and brass bridge (embarassed cough   - there was no BKPs around in the 70's when I replaced it  :( ). Must get round to getting Tim to rewind the original bridge pickup.

'61 Reissue complete with inaccurate top horn (chisel shape instead or correct pointed - as per 64) and larger headstock.

I think you should keep the Dual Sound - it might have been the modification-of-the-day in the '70s, but now it's cool because it's different.  :D

It reminds me of the SG "Atomik" Tommy McClendon had when he was in UFO.

Heres my mutant SG (of sorts)

Not a Gibson maple neck & fingerboard, and the body is possibly maple. The dumb sticker on the scratchplate is to cover a previosu owners band name.

It plays like a dream
