Questions about Nailbomb

Which one is the hotter coil of the Nailbomb? Is it the screw coil? By turning a covered NB around, with the screws closer to the neck position, and raising the screws a little bit, the magnetic field will be concentrated more towards the neck rather than the bridge, and the hotter coil will also be towards the neck. Can a humbucker with a coil offset be beefed up that way?

on all our humbuckers with off-set coils the screw coil is the hotter coil.
If you turn it around so the screws are away from the bridge then you will get more bass in your tone.

Yeah, it's a Nailbomb bridge with capheads, or maybe a Cold Sweat. But I need my amp to be ready first to decide about the Dimarzio that's in my Strat now. It's really not easy to make judgements with a hybrid practice combo.

I have a nailbomb with 2 screw coils... it gives a bit more bottom end.  I have to check to see which coil is hottest  :)
So many pickups, so little time
