Okay, *hopefully* i'll have both of these pretty soon.
Caparison horus (maple bolt on neck, mahogany body, rosewood fingerboard, 27 frets), and a gibson flying V. or something similar in shape/specs.
horus has a humbucker and a single, and the V, quite obviously, has twin 'buckers.
should i roll with option A or option B here
A) calibrated rebel yells for the V and a mule bridge for the horus
B) calibrated mules for the V and a rebel yell bridge for the horus
not so sure about a suitable single coil for the horus, i already have a trilogy suite but that may not pair well. but at any rate, my main question regards what goes where!
for no reason other than no reason, i've chosen the mule to be an option, and for no reason other than a kickass clip, i've chosen the rebel yell to be an option.
i'm just looking for tonal variety in my guitars and thats a part of the spectrum i'm yet to cover. i have nailbombs in 2 guitars, will have a set of stormy mondays in another and have bellamy custom wound mississippi queens. based on that list, i'm open to other ideas apart from the RY or mule.
and am hoping to own a strat soon, but that's for another topic another day mind you!
cheers in advance you good folk :D
