That absolutely NAILS the classic Telecaster sound. A Very impressive tone.

Don't be so negative about your playing, it was swingin'.

I have GOT to get me a Tele anytime soon.

well thanks for the positive words...I think that playing was after I drank couple shots of whiskey and I really am embarrassed of myself for posting this on youtube (if you listen close you can hear another backing track and me turning it off)...but...my sister took my digital camera with her so this is the only clip I have at the moment. I'll post some better playing later and get rid of that one . back to the pickups..It's really great pickup with lots of twang and really woody... I played it on THD Flexi 50(in the guitar shop)and there was bit of a reverb going on(sorry...I recorded the clip with a cheap orange crush 15)....which is in my opinion, kick @ss ! really great tele pickup. best sounding tele I've ever heard.

Like it a lot, the basic tone is great, nice harmonics, and I think your playing is really good, at least I would have no problems watching you play the blues for a 2h gig with a good rhythm duo in a nice whiskey bar.

For me personally it would have to have more gain, so I was wondering what would be the result if you would make that THD shake the walls a bit  :P

But those Blackguards seem to be really good. Where to they fit in the picture with the other models? Are they the weakest output/most original ones?

thanks for the overly nice words  ...I tested it on THD while IN the shop. I live in an apartment...so all I got is a small 15w orange amp. (I plan to buy a THD UNIVALVE) anyway. it's really amazing how this pickup sounds so d@mn good despite the fact that...the amp is a cheap crush15($20). I just can't stop telling you how good the pickup is..I'm really impressed. I'll try another clip with some dirt. (crunch box) hope that sounds good  :?:   sorry for the misunderstanding by the way

Nice tone, and a beautiful tele. That a Baja? I want one so bad, only with some Piledrivers in it maybe...

You are too hard on yourself. You did fine and you got the right tone and it is so much harder to play and get dynamics when you are using a clean setting. You did great. Thanks for posting.

I was thinking exactly the same. It was the combination of what look like pj's and something that looks like a hospital bed that made me wonder.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Well done man, thats great lead playing, you're too much of a self critic.

I liked the tone, classic tele.
