Heavy and calm...........well the Warpig has serious output yet will clean up really well however some of the lower gain models will also produce huge, dymanic overdrive and lovely crisp clean tones, ie VHII, Abraxas and Crawler.

Welcome to the forum too :D !

i was checking out some samples of pickups, and the nailbomb and miracle man have been my favorite. could you use a nailbomb and a miracle man pick up set or do they have to be the same set(sorry, i dont know much about pick ups)

You could mix a Nailbomb neck with a Miracle Man bridge. Obviously you don't want a Nailbomb bridge in the neck with a Miracle Man in the Bridge, if you see what I mean.

The Miracle Man neck is thicker sounding and higher gain than the Nailbomb neck. The Miracle Man bridge is tighter, more low mid - the Nailbomb bridge is looser in the bass and has more upper mids.

Calibrated sets have  a bridge and neck wound to work well together, with a similar tone signature. The bridge and neck are not the same pickup, usually there's a different magnet or wind to stop the neck getting muddy, but keeping a sound that stll balances with the bridge well.
