Curently advertising for a second guitarist as follows:
Strong, competent rhythm guitarist (male or female) needed for established, rocking five piece covers band - Kaiser Chiefs, Black Crowes, The Libertines, The Killers, Primal Scream, The Strokes etc. 2+ hours of material, our own PA and regular paid gigs. We aim to do rock and pop/ rock, mainly from the 90's onwards. Songs that are well known, up tempo, rock based and no 'Dad Rock'.
Essential criteria:
A decent, reliable rig,
Own transport or at least a reliable method of getting you and your gear to where it's needed on time,
Be available to rehearse once a week in Croydon and gig 2 - 3 times (possibly more) a month,
Be a 'riffer', not a 'strummer' - just banging out the basic chords is fine if you're a busker but we need someone who can really nail those riffs,
Optional:
If you're up to it then lead guitar duties can be shared - we're not going to be precious about it. If you'd prefer to stick to rhythm, no problem.
Unlike many bands advertising on these boards, ability is more important than age.
Looking to meet up asap as we have gigs booked up until the summer and beyond.
