Christ that was fantastic, and a fellow leedsy-person too! and here i thought leeds was either superskinny-indie or stupidsplurging-death metal.

I'd never taken the time to check out the HD's before but these seem perfect... did you get around to trying them out in your SG?

I wonder if this could do the Alter Bridge type sound...

Would you say most of the tone is coming from the crunch box? I'll be after one of those too, sounds kick ass!

Love 'Song 5' on your myspace btw, is that Nailbomb or HD?

Yea I tried it in my sg, but it sounded no where near as good. Sounded alot bassier and darker. I asked Tim which pickup would be best at getting a similar tone to the holydiver but for my sg, and he suggested a riff raff, so should be getting one of them soon.

Song 5 is the holydiver but I used an mxr eq pedal infront of the amp instead of the crunchbox. If you've got a half decent tube amp you should be able to get a good sound from the crunchbox.

amazing tone!  Almost as good, if not just as good, as the original.  It was a little troublesome to get through without ozzy's vocals thought.  :P

Very nice!  Is your Strat an older Squier?  I have a Keeley DS-1 and wondered if the Crunchbox would be different enough to buy one as well!

It's just one of the cheap squiers, it was my first guitar and cost about £100 i think, but I've replaced the neck, bridge and bridge pickup. I've never tried a keeley DS-1 but I'd imagine its pretty similar to the crunchbox.

Fab tone and playing!  Marvelously fat sound for a strat, but very well defined too.  That'll cut through the mix ....

I'm definitely thinking HD bridge for when I eventually upgrade my dodgy old Charvel Charvette. :)
