Got there a bit late so i only managed to catcha  couple of evile songs but they were some of the better ones such as bathe in blood and enter the grave.

Job for a cowboy were appalling the entire crowd were stood there as if in a supermarket que, ill upload a vdeo of this later.

Megadeth were awesome apart from them playing Gears of war in B or something as ridiculously low but mustaine did apologise for it sounding cr@p.

Broderick was awesome, reminded me a lot of friedman as he had that certain flair to his playing.

So apart from JFAC it was an amazing night, oh yeah the rail replacement bus back from manchester was also a joke after being at the front of the gig and being completely worn out by the time it came to leaving.

And was he still playing 7-strings and/or BKPs?

(Not that there's any way you'd be able to tell if he had BKPs, but I've said it anyway...)
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Yea Job for a cowboy were shite. However Evile and Megadeth were awesome. I was really surprised by Evile as I've not really listened to their music before but they were brilliant. I'm definately gonna get their album and would love to see them live again.
I think I was was stood right behind you at one point during megadeth. Were you wearing a metallica world tour tshirt?

Was this the beast that Chris was using?

Such a beautiful guitar...

He uses Cold Sweats by the way. Apparently he gets confused and calls them Mules though, hence why if you'll read into it a lot of places say he uses a Cold Sweat/Mule combo.

Yep Chris has all his guitars without a locking nut. He only uses the trem lightly and has locking tuners. Fairly unusual though.

No locking nut makes sense for a quick(er) string change I guess.

That bridge pickup in the photo looks like a Dimarzio to me, but I could be wrong. The bobbins/hex screws on the uncovered WP are a bit bigger, and slightly more raised.

I was going to ask this before - But are Sperzels enough?

Ie, could you have no locking nut if you have locking tuners?

And if so, if I put some Sperzels on my Ibanez, what would I do with the nut? Too late to put in an Earvana right?

Yeah, unfortunately I reckon it will be. Obviously Wez or Feline would know for sure, but I'd say it'd take a serious bit of woodworking to replace the locking nut with an Earvana. You'd probably also have to fill the holes through the neck where the locking nut is currently attached.

Locking tuners are pretty good. I've got Sperzels on my Soloist, and although it doesn't have a Floyd, just a Wilkinson set up to give about a 1 and half tone upbend, it stays in tune pretty well, even when I'm quite vicious with it.
