Report ---
Wow, chuggariffic.
Track 3 is very 'Opeth'. I appreciate it, but didn't like it as much as the other 2, which I felt were more 'pure'.
Track 2 is my runaway favourite of the 3; played it a few times in a row to soak in all those time changes.
Edit ---
Besides the obvious love and work that went into the package as a whole, I thought I would point out that for an 'amateur' recording, how much I appreciate the fact that the vocals are IN KEY!!!!
Too many vocalists that that just because they are grunting, growling, or screaming, that they can follow whatever the hell key the wish. (Are you listening, Dani Filth?!!!!)
A small thing to most people, but to this pitch-monger, I really appreciated the singer's ability.
Some ppl may think that what he's doing requires no actual technique, but they would be wrong.
Kudos! I give this EP a 4.5 out of 5.
