The stupid new system still hasn't cleared my payment that I made on the 22nd of February. What's wrong with it?

Was it an "eCheque" or something like that? I've never figured out how to pay by that method, but when I've received them they take ages to clear.

Speaking of PayPal, I got an email from them yesterday saying I've received too much money and I've got to do some extra authorisation procedure or they'll suspend my account.

The tone of it is so threatening, they make it sound like you've done something wrong - when they should be saying "thanks very much for selling all that stuff and giving us a fat percentage of the proceeds"! :x

Yeah the eCheque is garbage. Takes 7 working days to transfer money to paypal, then another 7 to send it to your sender. Took me two weeks to buy a scratchplate from WD music cos of the sodding echeque. You can choose to send it directly, but it's a sneaky bar-steward.

Yeah, it is still PayPal, but as I say I've never figured out how to send them.

When I've received them, PayPal take a much smaller cut than they do with an instant payment - so I guess they punish us by taking forever.

I do wonder "where" the money is when it's in transit though - if you make a transfer from your PayPal account to your bank it still takes ages, even though they're both your own accounts!
