I've nearly finished the rhtyhm up on this now so before i start on the leads and overdubs id like a bit of feedback on the tone.

I was not going for the metallica RTL sound on this i was just trying to put my own spin on things.

Equipment used.

Agile AL2500 with miracle man bridge
Line 6 UX1 using the missipi criminal amp with green25 4x12 cab sim

and no effects.

Recorded straight into reaper with no after EQing

I can't quite put my finger on what it is that makes this sound a little off from the typical metallica tone *probably the tons of post processing, and running a guitar through far too many amps*, but even though it isn't exactly spot on to me, it's a great tone, and dare i say it, perhaps a bit better than the Metallica tone.

Thanks :D

to be fair on metallica thought RTL is extremely poorly produced.

The tone couldve been far better but the production let it down
