Howdy guys,

looking to get a 1 or 2x12 cab for suitable bedroom volume etc - will be playing through a laney gh50l and using a jackson rr24. any ideas on a decent cab to use? needless to say i play pretty much mostly metal :P i was thinking maybe something like a marshall 1936 2x12, but with the abohrence of marshall here at the bkp forums, wondering if anyone has any decent suggestions

I had a Marshall 1936 with my GH50L, it was good but speakers were pretty poor.
It depends on how much you want to spend, a Framus 2x12 from Thomann would be a great option, or if you want to spend more then an Orange 2x12 would be ideal.

ive heard good things about the framus stuff, but, if im honest, with them and the orange, im not a big fan asthetically. especially with cabs that are wider than they are tall :/ i know thats going to be a problem if i get a 2x12, but it seems less of a problem with than others

I have a fully enclosed, Tolex covered 1 x 12 cab with side handles and castors that I built with a Celestion G12T-75 in it. You can have it if you want to pick it up.

I would guess that Bob had a spare speaker laying around that doesn't have much second hand value, makes a cab?
