I love this cover of Bold As Love by John Mayer. One of my favorite Hendrix songs and i think he does it justice. :D

He does indeed. I soooo love John Mayers tone  - particularly the opening few notes in the solo on Belief.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Don't like the way he sung it - And the tone on the strat is just plain awful imo.

You have no idea how glad I am to see someone sensible regarding John Mayor. That guy should be hit by truck. Nah, that's a bit brutal, his fingers should be run over by a truck and his vocal chords should be attacked by angry bees. He might actually sound better then.

Jeez! Negative nancies!

I'm not a huge fan of his, and it's not mind-blowing, but he does it well; both singing and guitar-playing wise.

I like John Mayer but I prefer the track 'Bold as love' on Continuum tbh.

I still think he has a top album still to come out, although Continuum was pretty good. The track 'Dreaming with a broken heart' totally rocks and is one of my favourite songs these days. It's worth having a listen to, if you haven't heard it before.

the tone on that strat was good - as a strat should be, very Curtis Mayfield.  the rest i'm afraid was not!

I just REALLY didn't like it. his voice is such a boring generic radio voice, and the guitar tone was lacking. Dude can play though i guess!
LOVING the Mules!
