Its meshuggah, that we all know and love, but its taken the grooviness and amped it up, big time. Brutal, more comprehensible, yet still insane, and I love it.

Its like the best bits of DEI and chaosphere, with a tinge of I and nothing.

whoops, anyway not much excites me so much in music now but I love the new meshuggah album

Listening to it right now. Brutal as always, but the solos seem to have improved quite a bit. They used to just be weird and widdly, now they are weird, widdly, and melodic.

Just had a first listen & that was my first impression too.
