My guitar has a pair of them in, and when I tap the polepieces of the neck pickup, the response is louder.
My local guitar tech described the pikcups in the guitar as low output (before I informed him of what they were meant to be)
The neck pickup is definately more powerful, and to get the bridge to sound as I wanted, it had to be WAY to close to the strings (light palm mutes made string touch polepiece).
So... What could this be due to? magnet failure / degradation?
Do you think Tim would be willing to have a look / fix if I post it out?
