A nod to Hunter - Mississippi Queen
« on: March 12, 2008, 09:57:43 AM »
I recorded this as a psycadelic 'Son House' experiment with my Zoom H4 - after listening to Hunter's fantastic clip from his tascam - I thought i'd put this up.  Obviously i'm not as good a player as Hunter but the guitar is a Fender Esprit Standard, Neck Mississippi Queen.  The amp is a Fender Blues Junior.  The flanger track is through a HBE Powerscreamer and an old Boss BR2 I picked up second hand in the 90s.  The slide track is the powerscreamer and a Ibanez DE7.  I added some EQ and limiter on the H4 before mix down.

Although the track aint that good i'm quite please with the H4's ease of use in 4 track mode - lots of people complain about it, but its just like pushing buttons.
BKPS: Milks, P90s, Apaches, Mississippi Queens, Mules, PG Blues, BG FP 50s, e.60s strat custom set

I like it! Just maybe a little more treble would get it better, but it's nice!
