How happy are you with the VM?
Does the amp react good with boost/overdrive pedals in front of it?

Its a carrera - they are about as different as it gets tone wise. Interestingly the VM has more gain!

It sounds pretty good at low volume - sounds better louder obviously but it sounds great. It will do the classic marshall aggressive treble (why I bought it) but it will also do smooth and I discovered at the weekend very jangly on the low setting with the coil tap on (very Pete Townsend)

Its also very punchy - much more so than any marshall I have owned before (including the dsl)
