Hi all
I have a problem with AC hum on the effets loop of my Rockerverb.
If I run a short cable in the loop with nothing in the loop, the hum is not noticable. A long cable with nothing in the loop produces the hum. So it's definatley coming in via the loop. The volume control makes no difference at all, I'm assumng that is because the effects loop is after the pre-amp stage. The attenuator does make a difference, so it's being introduced before the output to the speaker.
As far as I'm aware thet only leaves the power-amp stage.
Any ideas on how I can get rid of this as I want to start using the effects loop? Can you get shielded cables or something?
Edit: Just to note, when the pedal board is plugged into the input as opposed to the FX loop I get no AC hum at all.
