That's funny, now I get everybody's attention!  But not just myself have received few replies, I've looked at other threads and see the same happening.  I do appreciate all the replies though, and you have made some valid points about knowing people, but you have to start somewhere, eh?

This is one of the most laid back and friendly forums that I've seen on the net.

I understand where you're coming from about posts but you also have to realise that on most other music forums this thread would get flamed and be littered with inane cr@p from idiots  :D

The fact that it isn't speaks volumes for the people here.

I'm sure that things will pick up shortly for you.

Maybe make a mahogany/maple cap guitar next time, so I can suggest pickups for it?  ...  :D

Cheers mate.

Maybe I'll make a les paul copy next.  But I think a steinberger bridge for a headless les paul would be cool.

Cheers.

Also when posting about what pickups for what woods ect, another generic response from the forum is, What sort of music are you're into and what or who your influences are to get you to a foundation of the tone your after, if that makes sense! Good luck with your project and welcome aboard  8)

It's not a forum, it's a secret society.

Think yourself lucky.  When you hit 100 posts they're all 'round your house with an assortment of guitars and not a single item of clothing between them for a weird initiation ceremony.

I've only just been able to start sitting down again.
