Guitar stand case - Anyone know of a UK supplier?
« on: March 22, 2008, 05:07:57 PM »
I'm looking for something like this.

Does anyone know where I can get something like this, in the UK? Google searches are throwing up stands, cases but nothing like this.

I saw it in a US Ebay auction but I'd rather keep costs down and try for one here first.

US Ebay link is here;

Sounds like something I could do with.  Does that all just fold down in to the suitcase size?

I have something similar, its not as fluffy, and its more of a skeletal structure that comes out of the case

OOH!  I just had a good idea but it all depends on how much room there is in that case when closed.  Basically it is the ultimate pedal board/guitar stand for gigs.  You have your pedal board mounted to a separate board that's removable from that case and take it out to use on the floor.  Under that is the stand part of it that gets collapsed into the case and can be put upright like normal once the pedal board is out.  I need to find one of these in a shop to mess around with or try to build one.  It would be so awesome!

D'oh!

Looks like I'll have to build my own.  If I make the bottom half deeper(where the guitar body sits) it would probably work.  OR if I make the sides and top of the guitar stand out of metal with braces it would be thinner.  Probably have to reinforce the handle though. :shock:
