On the topic of the guitar for which the thread was made, I personally think a touch screen installed in the body of the guitar is a bit excessive.

It's definitely an interesting project.  I wonder what the guy is expecting for a final bid?

I think that with things like this you'll never get back your initial investment.  Mr Arse Rammer must have spent hundereds of pounds on this - he'll probably do better keeping it or breaking it down for parts.

Epiphone Gothic SG ~ £200
Korg KP2 ~ £220
Fernandes Sustainer ~ £130
BKP Nailbomb ~ £100
MXR Phase 90 ~ £80
===================
Total = £730

(I couldn't think of a "mastercard" style punchline.)

And that's assuming he did all of the work himself.

I do hope he gets at least £500 back for it. Playability wise, if it wasn't a fantastic example of a Gothic SG he wouldn't have invested so much money in it... I hope.

Although it all looks fun, the only extra gadget I would use is the Phasey thang. Would prefer to put more effort into playing the guitar than making it sound gay

It went for £900 in the end.  Not bad going.
