well, i never thought i'd have to do that in my life.

its a great car, but has no tax, MoT or insurance now. i'd love to sell it, but its parked a long way away at my family, what a pain.

this experience might be a great 'down the pub' boast.

yes, a car is completely unnecessary in london.

problem is how to sell it, when its park 2 hours away on public transport. i'd love the cash...

I dont have a car at the minute either and I probably wont for 2 more years until I finish uni because its not really worth paying for it all year when I wont be using it in the term time :( Getting back into cycling though so I can just use the bike to get to my mates in various towns here if I cant get a lift :)

True, but it would be nice to have a form of transport which didn't involve sharing space with a hugely disproportionate number of psychopaths, loonies and aggressive drunkards.  Where the hell do they all come from?

(his car isn't legal to go on the roads any more)

Thank you :D

That's bad man, but I found the public tranport in London AWESOME!
What I say is like:
São Paulo, a +/-25 million people city has 3 lines of tube, with a fourth in the making... So, the first time I saw the tube map I was: "WOW, wtf is this????"
And the bus is about double or three time to come, comparing with London...
And Phill Q ok, there is some bad boys there, as any place, but "I felt safe in London city"  8)
And it was the first time that I was an "average size" guy... Here I'm quite big...

It's bad enough with 2 large bags and a Rickenbacker @ 08:00 in the morning.

I ended up punching some guy who literally pulled me off the tube train, when I was rushing for the Glasgow train
Goodbye London !
