I had to post about this. I got my guitar back from me local repair man and these pickups have really blown me away! They replaced a calibrated set of Warpigs which were great but a little too in-your-face for what I was after.
I got them wired to a 5-way switch with the following positions:
1 - Bridge
2 - Outer coils parallel
3 - Inner coils parallel
4 - Neck split coil
5 - Neck
Initially I was worried about the output and split/parallel sounds but I'm actually prefering the sound to what it was with the Warpigs. These pickups just sound so warm and open - the bridge in particular is one of the most characterful sounds in a humbucker I've heard! The neck is warm but still defined and sweet. The split/parallel positions work great for clean or slightly overdriven lead work.
Just fantastic - Tim, you're a legend. Never replacing these!
