I hate to say it but Megadeth's new guitar plays that solo way better than Friedman does

Adds in a bunch of cool sweeps.. its almost like that is how the solo was supposed to be from the get go. Also some Bareknuckle action in that vid.. Cold Sweat neck pickup if I remember right

personally I think marty chooses not to play that way.
If you remember his cacophony days he and becker used to sweep like there's no tomorrow. Isn't speed metal symphony like swept from start to finish? :p

He may choose to play it the way he does, but I like the way Broderick chose to play it better :D Speed Metal Symphony might not be swept start to finish, but they were definitely going for Maximum Note Density at all times
