I've been playing since around 8 this morning. I've just got the bug so bad at the moment, even turned down a night out with a chick. I've had enough of those for a while!  :o

Haha, nah, I exagerated a bit. I did turn down many nights out and missed many classes because of it though.

Up to a recording session, my guitar teacher practices 12 hours a day, every day.

Wow that's dedication for you! I would play all the time if I didn't have to work for a living.   Which leads me into a little plan!   I know a woman my age who is a multi millionairess  I do, it's true and she's single, if a little, well, displaying slight signs of chubbiness! Now I wonder if keeping her happy with some carnal knowledge she would facilitate me to play my guitar all the time without the need to drive a truck to pay the bills! How cool would that be!  8)

 This could be fun trying to achieve this, what a peach if it all came off!! I saw her today as it happens, she is a really nice down to earth woman. Who is the only child of a very very rich man. Mind you she is a go getter herself,  independent of what her Dad has achieved and I couldn't see her putting up with me getting up at 10-ish and strumming till neighbours comes on like you young 'uns do!! Mind you, you could get serious about getting a gigging band together which earns dough on the road for most of the week. If I had the time I could learn loads of tunes and find the other musicians needed. God I'm such a dreamer! But Like our Mr 38th says, you have to think long term!

If you're thinking long-term, then the solution is to pull a Blackbeard on her.

What's a Blackbeard I hear you ask? Well, Blackbeard was a pirate, right? Pirates have wooden legs, right? Heather Mills-McCartney has a false leg, right? Yeah that's it... you got it.  8)

Nice one Sam-made me laugh but can I suggest you make it less complicated and use a one legged( albeit ficticious) pirate by the name of Long John Silver. See that Sam, we are a gag writing team.

Ah yeah, a pirate that actually has one leg would make much more sense wouldn't it.  Good edit there Beatle. I think we're the next Morecambe and Wise.

Let me get this straight, I saw my leg off and then marry her and go on the road with a band and a pair of crutches? No?
Well I've heard of Black beard, he had the Royal Navy scared shiteless. He had two legs though mate! Sorry Sam I'm struggling to make a connection or is it just the Mucca thing? Well She was a right silly ***T and so was he to not see it coming. The thing is this girls is really nice so it could be more to it than fiscal reasons. This is my boss's idea as he knows her really well! Personally it's one of my best fantasys!

Yeah it was just the bit about stealing McCartney's money really. I wasn't suggesting you maim yourself, or try to scare the Navy shiteless. Could be interesting though.

Seriously though, sounds like a pretty good plan to be honest! Go for it.

I never have long practice sessions any more :( For the most part I only play for is about an hour if that, I get bored otherwise :? Guess I need a better practice thing, all I do at the minute is play songs and jam to backing tracks.
