Hey as promised here is my first clip.

Its the first solo from Deliverance by Opeth. Pardon any mistakes you hear, i just did them quickly before i get some kip.

All guitars done on my Ibanez RGT2020, using a POD XT Pro, no processing on any of the tracks.

I think the rhythm tracks sound particularly beefy :twisted:

Excellent stuff, great playing and the tone was spot on.Steve is always getting me to transcribe Opeth stuff..........it's not easy and there's alot of it in every opus :lol: so hat's off from me PDT_003

Thanks for all the comments guys. I didnt nail the solo perfectly but im glad you liked it. I didnt really work on the tone too much but i quite like how it turned out. Ill do some more clips soon.

I think the tone is spot on for Opeth. The solo was a little bit off, but I couldn't play it, so Im not going to criticise!

Great Opeth tone, and playing! Did it take you a while to learn that, and find the tone with your amp? I have been playing advent and in the mist she was standing for a long time and still not complete!
