Watched Big Trouble in Little China last night. A fabulous slice of 80's cheese.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Saw Equilibrium last night. I thought it was rubbish - cheap Holywooded ripoff hybrid of Brave New World and 1984.

The fight scenes are awesome though!

I might watch [rec] again later, maybe it wont make me jump as much this time

They are doing something with The lost Boys film. A remake or sequel or something and Aiden have covered one of the songs......so it looks like it'll be bollox.

It's already done and out on DVD - I think it's a sort of "re-imagining" of the original (i.e. not exactly a remake or sequel, but a new film with big chunks of re-hashed plot).

But I can't bring myself to watch the original any more, I liked it at the time but I'm afraid it'll now seem hideously dated (like so many '80s films).

the new lost boys film is infinately bad!  Angus Sutherland is very much playing his dad - but not quite as dark as donald can be

Speaking of the Sutherland family, check out Mirrors when it's released - it's hilariously bad.

Only just got round to watching the whole of A Clockwork Orange. I've seen it in parts when its been on tv but never the whole thing. Anyway I LOVED it, such a good film. Why dont they make films like this any more? It inspires me to create something better than the usual hollywood cr@p, but I'm just so bad at writing and with ideas that I'd never get anything done

Absolute bloody genius.  I love everything about it, it's so '70s and so British!  I know there's some dark stuff in there but it's one of those rare films I watch with a little smile on my face from beginning to end.

Now go and watch all Stanley Kubrick's other films!

Yeah, after watching it I read IMDB reviews for it and one was saying how unlikable Alex was. I found it the opposite, I thought he was a great character and liked him throughout, how can you hate someone who says eggyweggy and steakywakey?

I've seen Eyes Wide Shut (thought it was good but cant stand Tom Cruise and the music got really annoying), Full Metal Jacket (loved the first half, the 2nd not so much) and I have The Shining still to watch. I've seen parts of that on tv as well but never the whole thing. Last time I saw it I got too scared and turned it off

Zombie Strippers.
Potentially the worst film I have ever seen, but it had zombies in it so I had to watch it

Watched The Shining the other day, not sure why I was so scared of it before as its not that bad at all :? Great film anyway :) Also watched The Orphanage/El Orfanato earlier which creeped me out, and made me jump REALLY bad at one point - made me spill my tea all over my desk   Nice ending though.

Just got back from seeing RockNRolla, really liked it :) Recommended!

Was actually the first time I've been to the cinema by myself, I think I actually prefer it for some reason. Probably just because I'm an antisocial bar-steward
