I've seen both S1 and S2 of community, both were quality.

Highly recommend catching The Dark Knight Rises. Nolan really hit it out of the park this time, superior to TDK in my opinion.

Just finished watching Line of Duty on the Beeb.  It was great - really didn't want it to finish.

I went to see the new batman 'the dark knight rises' and would give it 1 out of 10, one of the worst films I've ever seen. If you are thinking it looks good from the trailer then don't be fooled! don't expect a classic...

I thought the dark knight rises wasn't a patch on the dark knight. It was pretty obvious what was gonna happen and I was a little bored, not a bad film but too much hype if you ask me.

I thought it was the worse of the 3

I'll go along with this sentiment too. Although I wouldn't saw I was ever bored, but it is very slow in places.

I went to watch it yesterday for my birthday and it's a perfectly good film, but no way as 'epic' as people have been ranting and raving about.

I'd give it a firm 7/10 whereas Dark Knight is 9/10 imo.

I don't think any superhero film can ever be pure solid gold 10/10, because there's always a little bit of inherent silliness of a bloke with a silly name in tights and/or a cape - that said, a lot of the Batman, Spider-Man, X-Men etc films have done a very good job of (almost) getting over that.

Plus they always have to waste of lot of time on the origin of the hero and/or villains, which doesn't help (although in the case of Captain America, the origin bit was the best part, then the rest of the plot fell a bit flat).  It would be quite nice if someone was brave enough to make a superhero film where they just assumed the audience already knew the back-story!

Anyway, I have to wait until 19 August to see The Dark Knight Rises at the IMAX.  Everyone else in the world will have seen it and analysed it to death by then....

i agree.  i was reading something on imdb about why it was so poor.  but most of it centred around issues with believability, real life FBI/police processes, introduction of major characters so late in the series and the fact it didn't have heath ledger in it

a bit daft really, its a superhero film so reality is out the window already, although this batman at least manages to try and be realistic in comparison to the rest of the genre.  also odd to mean about the new character film - almost all film series do this, especially ones that were not set up to definitely be a series in the first film (so everything accept lord of the rings i suppose)

I am looking forward to it, and it doesnt have to be as good as the second film to still be worth a watch

I'll need to watch The Dark Knight again, but I don't recall coming out of the cinema having enjoyed it as much as TDKR.

I think it was a solid 8/10. Hardy is excellent and steals every scene he's in, even inhibited by that mask and I think Bale toning down the Batman voice made a massive difference to how seriously I could take it.

I did see it that's why I was wondering. I think it's as good as Batman Begins for sure, but The Dark Knight has it beat I'll agree with that. I don't know maybe being a fan of the comics and it being much more comic-booky to me made it seem great. I generally rate movies on how thoroughly they entertain me not so much the stupid Batman voice or plot holes or any stuff that matters to film buffs. I enjoy books much more, creating my own mental images. (And music!)
I certainly don't mind if you don't like it though, to each his own.

Looper. Not sure really. It was alright but not as amazing as reviews led me to believe!

I saw that a few weeks ago.

I went to watch it without knowing anything about the story or plot, nor had I read any reviews: I really enjoyed it

I thought the premise was very good too.

I thought was enjoyable enough and there were some good action bits in. But considering one review described it as "this generations matrix" or something like that, I felt a bit let down

maybe they ment "This generation's Matrix 2"...
It wasn't a mistake, it was chromaticism, I swear.
