Whilst I don't recall all of the traits of Walter in the early episodes I do distinctly remember him panicking when he thought the police were coming for him.

That scene was pretty funny. In that scene Bryan Cranston played Walter exactly as he plays Hal in Malcolm in the Middle. As interesting as Walter is I can't 100% say I really like him anymore.
Watched Evil Dead at the weekend!i remember the original, vaguely. This one was OK, I guess, slicker, incredible vomit inducing effects. Didn't really have the shocks for me though, all gore and no real horror.
