Wolverine was fun in a mindnumbing way.

If you haven't checked these guys out, you should. Really good and funny movie reviews.

My brother absolutely hated Wolverine, although we usually like superhero movies.  But I'll wait and see, we don't always agree.

Meanwhile, I watched Underworld: Rise Of the Lycans last night.  Disappointing.

What did you expect from Rise of the Lycans? The first two Underworld movies where watchable at best IMO  :D

I'm not going to say they were great, but I liked them.  This one just lacked... something.  It seemed a bit pointless really.

Started watching Ray last night. Great stuff so far, great acting and music. Pretty sad as well - especially the bits with his brother.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Went to see district 9 last night :) You guys were right, even for someone that doesn't appreciate the genre.
The SA accent did seem off in places, but they captured the excitement that my colleague also shows about anything a little bit different

Will definately buy it in BRD to watch more, I get the feeling there were a few bits that linked together, but they were in the background.

I guess the reason I found it good for an alien film was that it went away from the cliche of aliens all being smart etc, a new perspective, and (if it were to be real) pity / feelings of compassion which is not usually present in those films.

Saw the Ip Man film the other day.  Amazing - waiting for it to come out on DVD in this country.

Anyone who likes their Chinese martial arts films should watch it.

District 9 was bloody awesome!

I want to see it, but the only showings round my way seem to be audio described/subtitled. NOOOOOOOO!

I was watching Die Hard 4.0 yesterday and I was fiddling with the audio to see if Bruce Willis would break into a French accent or something, to my surprise a bloke started describing the movie like "there is a red dot flashing on the screen", I laughed so much, lol..

Went to see District 9 a few days ago, thought it was OFF THE CHAIN! Loved it, quite original for a Sci Fi film.

The SA accent is generally a mess though.

Also noticed Cineworld was showing The Thing, unfortunatly, i was already away home by then, so bought the DVD instead, love that film.
