Whilst I'm a big Morello fan, that pitchshifter solo is awful imo. It doesnt even sound in tune to me, and the scratching etc doesnt fit at all :? The first solo part was way better.

I don't really like Tom Morello, but this is a cool song, and his solo is amazing! 6:20 sounded kinda creepy too, goes with the ghost thing.

I've never been a Springsteen fan in the slightest, but that was terrific!

Morello is awesome, but I must admit I prefer his conventional playing to his out-there stuff. So yes, shoot me down but I like Audioslave more than RATM.

I think that's fair enough - Rage Against the Machine are very marmite like.

Personally I love them.

Audioslave on the other hand - Are an absolutely brilliant band - And Chris Cornell is an AMAZING singer.

I think most people who do like Rage, won't acccept that Audioslave are better - That being said, Audioslave are a great band and I think their first album was superb.

I love audioslave! i always loved rage against the machines music but hated the vocals (never really bought into all that fight the system cr@p either), with cornells vocals though it sounds brilliant!

that version is amazing though, the only problem is morello's over enthusiastic use of his effects near the end, the rest of it is mint.

I was never a Rage fan and can't say I really listen to Audioslave (though they write great songs), but Tom Morello is a genius. I love his unconventional approach to playing guitar. Incredibly creative.

I love Rage and i loved the first part of the solo, but i have to agree with _tom_, the pitch shifter part was horrendous!

I hate to say this but I really didn't like that solo one bit.

It was a poor attempt and to be honest sounded like amateur hour at the pub ....

He can do much better and I'm pretty sure he'll be embaressed if he sees that performance again.
