So, the Framus is gone, sold to a studio owner in Doncaster. However, the replacement is even more awesome than the Cobra was. Picked up this beast yesterday evening:

And what a beast it is! I've barely had a chance to play it, but when I went to collect my Blackmachine I got to try a VH4 out for a couple of hours, and was absolutely floored by the incredible tone. The combination of my guitar and this amp works amazingly, and I can't wait to crank it up in a bit when certain people have woken up..

Even Jordan considered it worthy as a throne:

I can hardly believe you have it on top of a 4x12. It's absolutely huge !! Is it as heavy as it is huge ?

Awesome rig man, the black 'Orange' 4x12 totally rules too - and then there's the Black Machine. Bet it all sounds SWEET.

Cheers guys! Pretty sure I've found "my" amp! The sound is incredible, and the really useful features are just the icing on the cake (effects loop for each channel, ability to take pretty much any type of powertube etc..)

Yeah it really is a big 'un! It's not ridiculously heavy or anything, but it is seriously well-built (trust the Germans :) )

I know samoth2 said it, but yeah, they're Painkillers. Amazing pickups.. really, awesomely good in every way!
