Have you asked Tim what he would suggest?
My Ibanez is an example of the only time I did not follow Tim's advice. He said Warpigs & Trilogy suite, I bought Nailbomb & MQ. Less than a year later I now have the Wpigs & triology suite, and the nailbomb & MQ are in the cupbord.

You mentioned about future Cold Sweat use? Why not sell your Charvel (How silly do I sound ) and put the combination you had in the Charvel into the Nez of yours? Or at least I'd consider a Cold Sweat somewhere.

Yup, I'm taking the Cold Sweat out of the Charvel and will use that in a future guitar. I want to use the CS in a vintage style strat with just the bridge humbucker and a single volume control, so doesn't really fit what I want for this guitar. I bought a guitar today with money I got from when my Grandma passed away, so that guitar will either get the Apaches or Cold Sweat that I have lying around.

I've spoken to Tim about it a few times but he hasn't really given me a solid suggestion as such. I mentioned to him that I'd spoken to TO, and told him that he suggested NBs, and then Tim said that they'd work well. He hasn't really given me a firm suggestion like he has in the past.

Although, that's more than likely my fault as I haven't been able to give him a set tone that I'm after from that guitar. I s'ppose I need to have a think just what I do want from the Ibanez and then I'm 100% sure that Tim would give me the right answer (just as he has for the last 13 sets of BKPs I've bought  )
