Sorry for delay in getting these shots taken and posted , but here you go!

And here is a comparison of the wood with and without paint.
Note - we did apply some oil to the grain in the first picture to bring out the grain
This was prior to being carved...

That looks great.

Jonathan, you logo is different to other guitars of yours that I've seen...  It was quite blocky before, now more scripted and elegant (a bit like the Tokai logo...)  Is that perminant?

I've seen both quite often, it seems that the elegant one is used on more classic guitars, LPs, Teles, etc. And the blocky one used on more brutalz guitars, RGs, explorers, etc.

But I could be talking out of my arse.

Logos

When I first started out I had a different script style logo, but very quickly I got too many people saying that I was just trying to clone Fender - which was far from the truth.
Kind of tricky in a way - we have a 6 letter name starting with an F with 2 letter E's and a tall letter in the middle

So Feline= Fender?

So at the time I took drastic steps to reinvent the branding
What I cam up with was the blocky italic logo

We had already been using the cats eyes as inlays but I came up with putting them in the ellipse (or rather a friend suggested it - thanks Dave)

So for a long time we used that and allowed it to become recognisable.
Over a number of years and through getting guitars reviewed in magazines etc the only criticism we got was that the block logo wasn't elegant enough on certain guitars.

The cats eyes logo however was becoming really recognised (not quite as much as the shape of a coke bottle or other international icons like the Mcdonalds M, but still easily recognisible as our trademark)

So I introduced the script logo for guitars where the blocky logo isnt so suited.

And it looks great on the centre of the large 3 a side headstock like on the Lion or on our Tabby or Panther models (TE & ST style).

We still use the blocky logo on guitars with smaller headstocks or where it is more suited - my Flying Vs have the blocky logo as it seems to fit a lot better

Some players have wanted just the cats-eye logo saying that it is easily recognised on it's own and better suits their style:

We allow customers to chose which of our logos they have when we build a guitar.

Matt for whom the above Quilted Lion is for just wanted the script one on its own for an old fashioned look

We also have a Southpaw logo  that we use on selected left handed models
Here is a version of it taken from a t shirt design- the wording around the logo isn't there on the version we put on guitars

Excellent.

For what it's worth, I much prefer the more elegant script - I think that it suits your Lion perfectly.

I really like that logo, it looks great on the LP style headstock.

Picked her up yesterday. Looks even better in the flesh!

First impressions are great, good set-up, light in weight and great sustain. I tested it against my old Les Paul Studio by just playing the low E on both guitars. It's really noticable just how much longer the Feline sustains a note for.

The Mules are great as well; much less muddy and more articulate than stock pickups in the Studio

Will try and post some clips in a few weeks when my new amp is ready from Martamp.

Thanks Jonathan!
