Does any one own one? (I note the man himself is on here so he may be biases...LOL!) But I really fancy a custom build based arounf a Les Paul and the Lion looks the ticket!

See, i'm thinkin I would love a Les Paul with the Norlin neck from the 70/80's era, with M Queen in Neck and Mule in bridge in the same colour as this Eggle:

That would be a sexy guitar! Mmmmm!

You wouldn't regret it.
Mine is 99% ready, hence, I can't tell you what it plays like.
However, the whole custom thing is a route that I would recommend and it's great choosing all the finer details along the way.
Sometimes it's actually difficult working out exactly what you want given so much choice, fortunately you have the benefit of Jonathan's knowledge to help you weigh up the options you're considering.

The guitars I tried in Jonathan's workshop were all top notch.
I tried out the aqua-marine Lion which is on his website..... I've played lots of guitars, but that set the benchmark for singlecuts for me.

If the current owner ever wants to sell it (and he won't) I'd buy it straight away!

Although I don't own a Feline, I've played 3 of their Lions at length (along with much of their other recent stock).  They are very nice guitars & it's only through extreme self-restraint that I didn't buy the korina lion in marine stain - a truly gorgeous guitar.

Also, in the last few years they've done work on several of my guitars, including 4 refrets, a major rescue job on a Warmoth assembly that I botched  & all sorts of other small repairs/modifications.  Their work has always been top notch & they will be seeing more business from me...
BKPs: HD, MM, NB, PK, CS, Ab (b&n); Am (b only); VHII, Tril (n only); IT, Slow, Sult (m&n)

Thanks guys! roughly what sort of waiting time is it? I would need to sell my Gibson LP deluxe to fund it which will only leave me with a Blade Tele for the said period!

Its funny - I have only ever really considered custom acoustics. It has just hit me like a steam train that I can get THE guitar I want built for me! D'uh!

dont forget you can pay him in installments... so if you can get the deposit together you can wait a bit before shifting the Gibbo
