Thought I would put a couple of beter pix of this guitar up
It is made from a 30+ year old plank of Brazillian mahogany that had belonged to a cabinet maker who retired and had no further use for his old stock.
It is somewhat heavy but has a great sound
Currently we have a pair of Mules in itbut I am toying with changing the bridge for an Emerald as it is just a bit bright and the extra "Oomph" from the Emerald will ease that a bit (or swap the volume pot for a 300K version)

As ever it features the all access neck joint and an Earvana nut.
The knobs are unusual Ivoroid ones with a rubber grip strip- I kind of liked them but opinions are a bit divided on them.
They could easily be chnged in under a minute so no big deal

That looks gorgeous. I particularly like the contoured heel. It looks really comfy :D

Quite like it but zebra pickups, don't like them with mounting rigs...
Looks awesome job!

Great guitar.  I think that's the finish I'd go for (gold pups though...)

Beautiful. I especially like the binding around the body. I have a preference for covered pickups (not that I have a h/b equipped guitar) but that is a fantastic piece of wood and the resultant guitar looks the business.

That's quite an impressive piece of craft. Really nice:)

I guess some experiment with all black, all white pups and black or white ring pup could fine tune the aesthetic scheme but that is really to be picky.

That does look really sweet to me - dont mind the pickup rings at all, match the binding well, and definitely agree with that contoured heel..looks like it would play like a dream!

I was sleepy and have not told exactly what I thought:
It's very nice build!
Can't see the line between the body and neck  :?

Very tasty, it has a touch of Zemaitis about it.
I think you chose a great finish for that model, it looks really nice.

My only criticism is that I'm one of those people who finds Earvana retrofit nuts a bit too agricultural in appearance, I think the one piece versions look neater.
