First post,Emeralds-holy Sh1t!!

why oh why have i taken so long to put these in a guitar!

got a second hand set of emeralds for the great price of about 100 euro a year or so ago,stuck them in a drawer and forgot about them!
i wasn't too excited at the time cause they were open coiled and i prefer coverd buckers,anyway after I got the pickups I got a good deal on an SG standard with fairly dull sounding gibson 490's in it

sent them off to tim last month to get covers put on and new hook-up wire
great service from the lads i must say
anyway I got the guitar back yesterday and even the repair guy was bown away,he told me never to sell it with those pickups in it!
so impressed were some of his other clients they're looking at getting bareknuckles now too,so i've spread the word a bit

holy mother the neck bucker is the finest i've ever heard,I expected a more aggressive tone but it's just beautiful and full,THE blues neck bucker sound IMO
the bridge i'm working with,it's so much more dynamic than any other one I've tried that i'll have to learn to play with much more care than before casue these catch everything!
anyway,I dying until seven o'clock comes round and I can go home and rock out!  :P

Ahhh! You see... You see! Gibson SG std. same as mine, so We were not crazy when we pointed about the " Tone " . Same thing the tech said.  Glad you liked them Mr benn!

yeah can't wait to put in more time on them and tweak the pickup heights
also the tone pros bridge i put in is help things along nicely too,not exactly sure how much but chords are really resonating :guitar4:

Glad you like them and welcome to the forum.

It's a very common thing among players who use BK's for the first time to say that they find the BK's pick up everything, which is great, even if it does leave you no place to hide!  :D
