I actually have much of my dream rig, but here goes :)

Parts of my "Dream Rig" that I already have:

Lehle 3@1
Morley Bad Horsie Wah
MXR M134 Chorus
Dunlop DC Brick
Engl Savage 120
TC Electronic G-Major
BBE 482
Korg DTR2000
Spectraflex cables

Parts of my "Dream Rig" that I don't yet have:

Engl Z7 Midi Interface & Z12 MIDI footboard (would prefer them to the Z10 so I could switch midi FX patches at the same time)
A Pedal board to mount the pedals & footboard onto
4x12" cab.  Something with Vintage 30s like a Mesa, Diezel, H&K VC412B30 or the Engl E412VG.
SKB 4U Rack case (only have a 3U atm, so the DTR2000 sits on top like a spare part...)
Rocktron Xpression or an Intellifex if I could find one in good condition (as a possible alternative to the G-Major which sounds great but I don't find particularly user friendly)

Other stuff that I'd like to have (not strictly part of the same rig):

Hughes & Kettner Triamp MKII head (for different sounds in the studio :)
4x12" cab with 2 Classic Lead 80s & 2 others (either G12T75s of K100s)
BKPs: HD, MM, NB, PK, CS, Ab (b&n); Am (b only); VHII, Tril (n only); IT, Slow, Sult (m&n)

My dream rig wouldn't really cost a fortune, seen as I'd rather spend my time practicing than work extra hours to afford the gear I want, but don't really need. So it'd be something like this:

Home rig:
Guitar -> morley wah -> t-rex alberta -> blackstar ht dual (or whatever distortion preamp I may like) -> delay unit (haven't decided) -> low wattage single channel tube amp, got my eyes on a Carvin Vintage 16.

Stage rig:
Same stuff but going into a Carvin X-100B with the delay in the fx loop. I have an irrational affection for those amps.

My dream guitar would be a sevenstring LP-DC that I'll probably end up making myself at some point.
Crawlers, Mule-7s

i dont really know what i want in the amp, speaker or pickup department. I play a fair range of things. But so far heres what i have worked out:

AMPS:
homebrewed bassman copy. 60-130 watts depending whether i use a pair 6550's in ultralinear or a pair of 6146b's in pentode.
This will be my surf/indie/rockabilly/blues/stoner/doom amp. Will also double as a bass amp.

Ampeg vh/ss 140-c.
This will be for metal, and surfer. The clean channel on this thing is something else.

6x12 with some speakers of some sort.
a 4x12 with speakers of some sort... probably greenbacks
a 2x12 with eminence v12 legends
some sort of bass cabinet =/

GUITARS:
My white bcrich mockingbird
custom Ran mockingbird 9 string (high strings doubled like a 12) black-red-yellow burst
red yamaha SA503 TVL. Need a semi acoustic, this one fits the bill for price and playability :)
fender jazzmaster

PEDALS:
sanford and sonny bluebeard fuzz
maxon od 808 (or some other boost)
EHX deluxe memory man w/hazarai
a nice tremolo of some sort
a nice wah of some sort (maybe)
maybe a chorus
my maxon OD 808 really DOES make poop sound good

Probably something like:

Guitars
Edwards LP Custom w/Crawlers or some other medium gain thing. Black covers 8)
Edwards LP Standard honeyburst w/Mules
Something with p90s, probably an SG or similar
Duesenberg Starplayer TV in vintage white
would probably have to have a superstrat with floyd just for the novelty
A nice playing strat of some kind.

Amps
A good JCM800 w/G12H cab
GH50L for other high gain stuff
Vox AC30

I'm not too fussed about pedals, so long as I have a decent wah, tuner and tubescreamer type pedal I'm fine :)

just an original '52 tele and a '52 bassman.

....and length of George L's

Well, hmmm.

Guitars:

-Gibson XR 1   I want it back from repair ASAP! It has a huge character about it in my playing that I am sorely missing, and is harder to play, so fingers are getting weaker :(
-White Lion w/ RY pretty much a LP custom look, but cream P'up rings
-LP standard type, very light flame that is more natural than consistant across the top, probably a 58 RI for the resale value
-Firebird w/ something vintagey, maybe a mini mule type rewind
Maybe a black LP Custom thing with a Kahler too

Amps:

- Martamp 45 with power scaling would give a nice clean I would imagine
- Plexi type thing, maybe an old Marshall, or Metro
- Would like a Greenback cab, but I am lost as to which I would prefer, G12H30, G12M25, G12M20 etc
Something to contrast to my Sidewinders, and with a more vintage flavour. I struggle to get a Zep type sound out of them.

Roo... teles are great... so much so i am tempted to do a fanned fret baritone tele to prove a point!!!   You would like it!!!!

i like quirky old guitars and for me teles always represent the perfect middle ground between the modern stuff i build and the quirky old stuff i would play if i could play

ideal rig for me would involve a 58 es335, and a very early fender bassman.... although philkings 62 bravewood has opened me up to the possibility that i might quitle like strats.......... if they are well made!!!

mmmm drunken messages ftw!

To be fair though, it's because of that horribly rounded and bulbous body (and horn), the horrid headstock, and that nasty metal plate under the bridge pickup. Nasty nasty nasty!

But point taken Wez! ;)

I'd love to run with my existing Hiwatt head & matamp cab a martamp 45/100 for the crunch. I've got the maxxon for pushing for a searing lead tone, but I'd love to have one of the RC boosters for clean lead. Also I'd like to get hold of Keeley vox wah with true bypass, my wah's cr@p!

Well, in the current political climate, we can't be too careful about being sexist, racist, homophobic, or generally abusive. but DUDE WTF!? A tele, are you a bottom bandit or WHAT!? :)

Good job you managed to avoid being homophobic it your put down!

Tele's are cool man, one of the most versatile guitars ever made.  The only style they won't do too good is hardcore chugga chugga, but that's to their credit!!

I suppose you love them or hate them......

yeah, like I said, late night drunken posting = win! (or lose, depending on which way you look at it).

But seriously, they are not "cool". "Cool" is just something they are not. Love them or hate them, fine, I definitely fall into the hate them category (plus I've never seen one being played that didn't make the player look like a ****...).

But I digress... And something tells me that Wez might make me live to regret this... :D
