BKP90s into Celestion G10 speakers
« on: May 28, 2008, 06:21:50 PM »
hello comrades,

here is a new piece of music, although in the early stages it is mainly to show you all how nice the new Celestion G10 Vintage speaker sounds in my Vox VR30, and how easy it is to get a really nice sound with little effort.

setup:

JJ Retro guitar BKP90 neck pos -> Vox VR30 w/celestion G10 vintage -> shure sm57 -> Tapco Mix 120 mixer -> M-Audio 192 PCI card -> Sonar 5

I also used the Keeley Katana Boost to push the amp a bit, and also a Boss DD3 MIJ delay, both on my pedal train 2 board. I later added some plate reverb in Sonar, plus a few other bits and pieces.

make sure you have it quite loud, as it can be pretty quiet in bits!

What do you think?

from Ben.

Sounds cool and classic. Lots of silence at the end. I was expecting more to come.
