Does it mean your volume is getting less when you turn it down but it doesn't go to 100% silent? Or is there no effect of the volume pot?

Sounds like the pot is faulty or there is something wrong with your wiring (my bet would be the pot)

I'd say it's 99% just a dodgy pot - my mate's LP with those little EMG 25k pots used to do it all the time.  Just get a new pot.

sounds like you have alpha pots fitted at the moment.... why not use this as an excuse to upgrade to CTS or CGE :)

you wouldn't use the meat knife on crusty bread but, equally, the serrated knife and straight edge knife aren't going to go through raw meat as quickly

I think I have a weird pot too, the volume dies before it reaches 1 (or 0, depends how you look at it)

It dies around 3 or 4
