Hello Tim,

What of your hambuckers gets closer most to Gibson original PAF?
I think of ' The Mule*", but I make a mistake maybe.

Thank you!

Hi and welcome :D !
The Mule is my version of the original PAF.The originals varied quite alot, anywhere from DC8 through to 9K range and used either Alnico II,III or IV magnets. It's widely ackonowledged that the Alnico IV ones sounded the best and that's certainly my opinion.I wind The Mule with offset coils and by hand(the originals, despite what others may say, were handwound.Gibson didn't get an automated winder until the very late '50s and even then had to continue handwinding alongside it until the early '60s when they got another.)The baseplate and cover are exact, and I mean exact, replicas of the original too.We make them ourselves from solid nickel silver and they're now the most accurate in the world right down to the tooling marks.I've even had the original braided hook up wire made for me by the people that made it for Gibson in the '50s.
Little details but they all make for a better pickup...............needless to say The Mule is a personal favourite of mine :D

I am French, excuse my errors in English language :(

Ok, it is indeed of what I thought!
I have already bought two "crawler" double cream and zebra more two "Sinner" in Paris ( Custom Shop)
then I to order it directly to the Bareknuckle shop?
The problem is that I am French and thus has to pay in euro.

If you have a credit card, the currency doesn't matter.

How do you like your Crawlers?

Ok, Thanks!

The Crawler is very well, I installed them in my Les Paul reissue 59, but I look for a sound more clean, less "distortion".
In fact with pickups which have too much of impedence, I find the sound in chorus not enough clear.
