Yeah, well-remembered, there were a couple of mid-eighties Ibanez AH models. Nice looking Strat-types, very much like a Roadstar series version of the Charvels he was using before. They weren't expensive models though, so I'm not sure if they had special neck shapes.

I don't think there's a huge market for a superstrat with a Gibson neck. Superstrats are for speed not comfort.
Yeah, you're probably right. You'd think there must be
some older, slightly more conservative rockers who'd fancy a secret bit of wiggle stick action, though.
I suppose there's always the option of hotrodding a regular Strat. Which I'd probably prefer, on reflection.
